I can honestly say that every staff member was polite, helpful and personable. When we arrived, our suite did not have a door dividing the bedroom from the living room, as we were assured it would. The staff handled this potentially difficult situation seamlessly, showing us another suite and helping us to move into it This aura continued to the very end of our weekend when we were heading to the parking lot to depart; one of the waitstaff insisted on helping us with one of our bags, eventhough he was carrying two silver food warming covers and his waiter's pad! It would have made a great picture!
Beautiful artwork Courteous staff Deluxe accomadations Great location
Had to change rooms. Toilet not working. Two trys to correct the problem. Very expensive.
The location of this hotel was perfectly situated. We parked our vehicle and walked or biked wherever we wanted to go. The staff was very quick to answer all questions and promptly provided us with anything we needed. We enjoyed room service which was delivered immediately. Upon our arrival, we were upgraded to a suite and enjoyed very clean and tastefully decorated accommodations. We will definitely consider this hotel again if we return to Niagara on the Lake.
We had to pay for parking and breakfast was very expensive for the small portions we received.
Good location with walking distance to all the town has to offer.
Nice hotel with lots of history but also pricey. The price thru Booked.net was better than booking directly with the Hotel. Did not like having to pay for parking each night we were there. With the price of room rates this should be included with your stay. The other hotels in Niagara-On-The-Lake do not charge overnight parking.
very comfortable, luxurious room with excellent facilities, very friendly, helpful staff, excellent restaurant
Service and Facilities were outstanding. Staff was very pleasant, and very helpful, at all times. Dining was very exquisite. A very enjoyable stay. We would highly reccomend this as a 6 star hotel.
The service & friendly advise of Cooper at the front desk.
room was not ready until 3.15pm although we were at the hotel at 1.00pm
Liked the sense of history that seems to surround the place. The room was exceptional and spotlessly clean.
Beautiful Hotel, good food, and the location in the center of town is great. The staff is very accommodating and friendly. We could not have had a better time on our 15th wedding anniversary.
Wonderful service and amenities from the front desk, to the dining room, to the spa and to the maid service. It exceeded all of our expectations.
Wished that we had stayed longerm - two days were not eneough.
Excellent venue in Ontario wine country. The staff was fabulous and the facilities wonderful.
The hotel is located right in the heart of Niagara on the Lake and is walking distance to so many things, shopping, restaurants, theatres. It was great.
The elevators could use a bit of renovating.
Great staff / Great location / Great Spa
We could not control the hot water in the shower all the time we were there. One of the large posts of the four poster bed is in the way of watching TV from bed.
The location is amazing and the hotel rooms and overall design are vintage and very elegant afternoon tea at the drawing room was also a unique experience.....loved it
No elevators for the upper floors not in the main building, we had my mother in law with us and the stairs were too hard for her.....so if you have problems with the stairs need to ask the hotel for a ground floor room prior to your reservation.......the breakfast buffet was not as expected but good though
